Text Messages (SMS)

Color Vida and Color Vida Kids can send a small number of text messages to parents and guardians who ask for them. This page explains exactly what we send, how you turn it on, and how you turn it off.
1. What We Send
Two kinds of messages only: one-time sign-in verification codes for your parent account, and short account notifications (for example, a subscription confirmation or renewal notice). We also send internal service alerts to our own staff. We never send marketing or promotional text messages.
2. How You Opt In
Text messages are off by default. You receive them only if you add your mobile number in your account settings and turn on text sign-in codes or text notifications yourself. Agreeing to receive texts is never a condition of buying anything, and you can use every part of the service without them.
3. Who Receives Texts
Only adult parent and guardian account holders (and our own staff). Children never receive text messages from us — child profiles have no phone numbers, and nothing a child can do in the app sends or triggers a text to anyone.
4. Message Frequency and Rates
Frequency depends on how often you sign in and what happens on your account — typically a few messages per month. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5. How You Opt Out
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts, or turn them off in your account settings at any time. Reply HELP for help, or email support@colorvidakids.ai. If you use texts for sign-in codes and opt out, you can still sign in with your password or a passkey.
6. Your Phone Number
We use your mobile number only to send the messages described above. We never sell it or share it for marketing; our SMS provider processes it solely to deliver our messages. The rest of our privacy practices are in the Privacy Policy.
